Unlike diamonds, fashion trends don't last forever; sad, but oh so true. Although this denim trend, can give some other trends a run for their money with how long its been in the game. I mean we all wear some form of denim don't we? Whether its jeans, jeggings (leggings and jeans had a baby), jacket, shorts, skirts; you name it! This year denim has seriously shown the streets who's boss from celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Rita Ora and more sporting full denim on denim looks. We can find a wide assortment of denim looks (dresses, skirts, tops, accessories) by designers such as Victoria Beckham, Chanel, Moschino, Ralph Lauren, D&G, Chloe and much more!

Upper East Side Style: Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl, a television series (2007-2012) about privileged teenagers living in the Upper East Side of New York City. Each week I found myself glued to the TV screen waiting to see what drama Blair, Serena, Nate, Chuck, Dan and, Jenny would stir up. Of course I couldn't relate to any of the characters on the show; wait, except from Lonely Boy of course.We didn't have super rich parents like Lily van der Woodsen or Eleanor Waldorf to shower us with chauffeurs, private jets or cash , but still we indulged in their lives. One of the things that made me fall head over heels with this show (other than Nate Archibald and on occasion Chuck Bass) was the fashion!I usually don't get jealous,
but gosh was I jealous of the Upper East side wardrobe.



Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Trina Turk, Zara, Collette Dinnigan, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Hugo Boss, Miu Miu, Catherine Malandrino, Reem Acra, Badgley Mischka, Marchesa, Moschino, Mulberry, Top Shop and much more were responsible for the fashion seen on the show. Oh, the things I would do to have Serena van der Woodsen's closet would definitely be Gossip Girl worthy!
