Finally! My favorite red carpet event of the year has arrived, drum roll please? The Oscars! Why it's my favorite? Well, the stars pull out all stops for this red carpet by debuting custom made gowns and suits by the biggest designers in the business such as Dior, Brandon Maxwell, Calvin Klein, Christian Siriano, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa, Zuhair Murad, and my absolute favorite Valentino; in simpler terms they were dressed to kill. Now, usually there's a lot of stars who make it on my worst dressed list, but this year there's only a few; which makes it hard for me to pick my hands down favorite. Popular on the red carpet this year were a lot of sequins, plunging necklines, exposed backs with minimal accessories. As for colors you have the typical variations of black, white, and gold, but this year we saw a lot of whites, blues, and purples, but my favorite color was worn by actress Saoirse Ronan (see below) who stunned in a dark forest green dress by Calvin Klein.
